Jaeger-LeCoultre - 1940s LeCoultre Uniplan in Steel

A spectacular 1940s LeCoultre Uniplan in steel, with a unique two piece contoured staybrite case, unpolished and sharp, with a seldom seen dial sans sub second register and amazing blue steeled sword hands.
While the Duoplan caliber by JLC continues to bathe in its glory amongst collectors, the Uniplan deserves just as much love. Constructed on a single plane rather than Its cousins two, this callber was leveraged by some of the brands most iconic watches of the era, including some iterations of the Reverso.
Measuring 36x23mm, its unpolished case wears brilliantly on most wrists, its dial, evenly aged for its nearly 80 years, with even patina and occasional blemish only adding to the charm. All components of this watch are original. Keeping great time.
