Longines - 1947 Longines 'Radial Dial' | Small Seconds | Extract From Archives

Longines has long been celebrated for crafting some of the most refined and visually captivating dials in the history of watchmaking, and this piece is no exception. Housed in a perfectly proportioned 35mm case, it features elegant heat-blued leaf hands, the iconic small seconds at 6 o’clock, and an exceptionally rare radial numeral layout. This watch is a testament to Longines’ ability to balance simplicity with flawless design.

According to the Longines extract from the archives, this watch identifies a wristwatch in stainless steel bearing the reference 5356. It is fitted with a Longines manually wound mechanical movement, caliber 12.68Z. It was invoiced on 16 September 1947 to the company Seelich in Prague.

CONDITION

This watch is in overall great condition, the case is in honest and strong shape, the crown is unsigned and original, the dial has aged beautifully and has a very light even patina with some normal aging spots and light scratches from previous services.

The watch was just fully serviced.
