1954 Omega Dress Watch (Ref. 2504-9) Champagne "Honeycomb" Dial

Omega is one of the most recognizable watch brands in the world, a status that has come thanks in part to names like Seamaster and Speedmaster. But the brand has a history and catalog that stretches far beyond those names, and watches like this ref. 2504-9, utilizing the manual winding Omega caliber 266 movement, are a great example that you don't need one of those mainline names on the dial to have a classic, beautiful, fantastic piece.

CASE & BRACELET

The handsome tapered-lug case features long lugs that give the watch a much larger presence than the advertised case diameter. The case has been previously lightly polished and retains its original shape and design throughout with honest signs of use present. The unsigned crown is likely and early replacement but matches the overall aesthetic of the watch. The snap on case back exhibits minor wear from use. The watch comes supplied on a 2pc handmade leather strap.

DIAL & HANDS

The original champagne dial with applied gold markers and logo features an impressive honeycomb texture which creates a beautiful depth to the watch. The dial shows some gentle age, most notably being some discoloration under the 10 o'clock marker, but is in otherwise excellent condition. The original yellow gold dauphine hands are in excellent condition.

None. The watch is keeping time, but the service history is unknown. A movement service can be provided upon request
