Girard-Perregaux - 1960s Girard Perregaux Stainless Steel Square Dress Watch

1960s Girard Perregaux Stainless Steel Square Dress Watch

It's no secret Girard-Perregaux has a deep lineage within Swiss watchmaking history, unofficially forming at the end of the 17th century and formally being announced as Girard Perregaux & Cie in 1852. Ever since, the brand has created some very worthwhile and interesting watches.

This piece from the '60s is a delightfully subdued example of the brand's design language, featuring a small, squared-off case with curved lugs, and silver dial with matching markers and hands. It's a watch that easily flies under the radar while also looking great with literally any style or setup.
