1960s Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Alarm (Ref. E855)

The watch's excellent 37mm case is oversized for the era but sits nicely on the wrist with a classic and timeless appearance that works as well today as it did 60 years ago.

The strong case retains excellent dimensions throughout, showing gentle signs of honest use and minimal evidence of previous polishing. The case retains the original JLC-signed twin crowns located at the 2 and 4 o'clock positions. The case back retains the factory engraved serial in fully visible and crisp condition. The watch comes supplied on a 2pc handmade leather strap.

DIAL & HANDS

The beautiful and original silver dial has achieved a lovely vintage aesthetic and is in great overall condition, featuring subtle aging and warmth that enhances the watch. The tritium lume plots

have achieved a grey patina and exhibit nominal degradation when inspected under UV light. The original tritium hands have aged slightly lighter than the dial with no degradation present under UV light inspection.
