For sale is an excellent condition 26mm by 26mm solid 18 karat yellow gold Patek Philippe Goldolo Golden Square. The 3430, is a 798,xxx movement serial and a 2,643,xxx case serial, circa early 1960s production, and accompanied by its original presentation box and solid gold spring bars.

The Golden Square features a polished yellow gold case, which measures 26mm in width (excluding crown), and 33.5mm in length (lug tip to lug tip). The Patek is mounted on a new unbranded black lizard-skin strap, which is secured by the watch’s original ‘PPC’ stamped 18 karat yellow gold tang buckle. The Goldolo retains its original sterling silver Argenté pearl tone dial, which has acquired a slight champagne colored hue with age. The dial features applied polished yellow gold index hour markers and polished gold hands. The movement used in the 3430 is the manually wound caliber 23-300, which is stamped with a Geneva hallmark, and is running well.

Condition:
The case has been preserved well with thick even lugs, all hallmarks present, and retains its original signed crown. The dial and hands present beautifully, with no visible imperfections and superb preservation throughout. Overall the Patek is in excellent vintage condition, and is a wonderful all original example of an early production reference 3430 Golden Square.
