Reference 1601 with 36mm steel case, 18k white gold fluted bezel

2.2 mil serial number circa 1968 production

Excellent vintage condition case with thick and sharp lugs. Legible numbers.

The dial is original, non-luminous with correct non-luminous hands. Black lacquered with silver print. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.

Caseback is original, dated ’68 inside.

The bracelet is a Rolex 6251H Jubilee with folded links and 55ends. The clasp has been replaced later with a 62510H clasp.

No box or papers. No service history. Crystal has been replaced prior to going up for sale. The watch winds smoothly and shows -5 seconds with ~260 amplitude on timegrapher.
