A beautiful 1970s Bueche Girod with a large for the era hypnotic solid 9ct Yellow Gold braided case, a pristine rich black onyx dial and amazing matching braided buckle and its original box, powered by a manual wind caliber.

I'll keep saying it but here is another example why Bueche Girod continues to be one of my favorite brands to discover. When you think you've seen them all, another wild example comes up and here we have proof.

In sold 9ct yellow gold, this oversized, 35x32mm Tonneau style braided beauty is in immaculate condition and a treat for the eyes at every angle. Its onyx dial is dark and perfect, keeping wonderful time and wears large on the wrist despite its hooded lugs.

I dub this the “Warhol Weave” due to the fact its case profile strongly resembles the famed Piaget Tonneau that Andy Warhol was famous for wearing, albeit this one, way more accessibly priced with its unique braided case and 9CT case.
