CASE & BRACELET

The exceptional case retains thick, crisp, and symmetrical lugs that show only gentle signs of previous use. The stainless steel “UPH” bezel is in excellent condition, showing minimal signs of use and only minor loss to the black enamel inlay. The Mk. II screw-down pushers are original to the watch. The inside of the case back is stamped 6262 which is correct as Rolex parts were interchangeable for this reference and this era. The original Rolex 7835 folded-link Oyster bracelet with 271 end pieces retains 13 links that show subtle stretch and will fit up to a 7 1/2-inch wrist.

DIAL & HANDS

The original silver sunburst "ROC" dial is truly exceptional, exhibiting no damage and only nominal elements of age that are invisible to the naked eye. The tritium lume plots have aged to a charming creamy-yellow patina, and all of the lume plots remain intact under UV light inspection though the 3 o'clock plot exhibits some light degradation, which is common for Daytonas of this era. The original hands have been professionally restored with tritium and feature a color that is a few shades darker than the dial lume.
