For sale is an excellent condition 36mm 14 karat yellow gold and stainless steel Rolex Oysterquartz Datejust. The 17013 is a 6,404,XXX serial, circa 1980 production, and is accompanied by an instruction manual, but does not have box or papers.

The Rolex features a brushed steel case with a yellow gold fluted bezel, and is mounted on its original 17013B integrated two tone Jubilee bracelet. The 17013B bracelet contains 12 full-size links (3 with screws), comfortably fits a 7.25-inch wrist, and is stamped with a ‘VE’ clasp code, corresponding to a production date of 1980. The Datejust features a silver sunburst dial with applied polished gold index hour markers, polished gold tritium coated hands, and a magnified date window aperture at 3 o’clock. The tritium lume plots and hands have developed a wonderful even golden cream colored patina with age, with all lume plots fully intact. The movement in the 17013 is the Rolex Caliber 5035, which recently received a new battery and is running flawlessly.

Condition:
The case has been preserved well, retaining crisp brush lines and chamfers, while the bezel flutes are well defined. The integrated jubilee bracelet contains little to no stretch while the coronet on the clasp remains present. Overall the Oysterquartz remains in excellent condition with the only signs of previous wear being some surface level hairline scratches along with a few flea bites on the edge of the crystal between 7 and 8 o’clock.
