For sale is a mint condition factory diamond set 36mm 18-karat yellow gold Rolex Day-Date Oysterquartz “President.” The 8,198,xxx serial 19048 was originally retailed on December 18, 1984, and is fresh from Rolex factory service, under RSC warranty until December 2026.
The 19048 comes with an extensive set of papers and accessories including: the original dated warranty paper, the original purchase receipt, a statement of value appraisal from the original retailer, an NFC Rolex factory service card, Rolex service boxes, an instruction booklet, a papers holder, and an insurance appraisal from Mayors Jewelers dated December 1997.

The Rolex features a brushed yellow gold case with beveled edges, accented by a factory-set diamond bezel adorned with 44 brilliant-cut diamonds. The Oysterquartz is mounted on its original integrated President bracelet, which remains fully linked with 23 full-size links (including eight screw links), and will comfortably fit a 7.3 inch wrist. The Day-Date features a black factory diamond dial with 8 brilliant-cut and 2 baguette-cut diamond hour markers, gold luminous hands, a magnified date window aperture at 3 o’clock, and a day window aperture at 12. The tritium lume plots on the dial remain flawless and have acquired an even custard-colored patina. The movement used in the 19048 is the Rolex Caliber 5055, which is under Rolex factory service warranty until December of 2026. 

Condition: 
The case has been well preserved, remaining thick with even proportions, crisp brush lines, and defined beveled edges. The integrated President bracelet exhibits virtually no stretch, while the coronet on the clasp remains present and well-defined, only showing light signs of previous polishing. The dial is flawless and free of any imperfections, while the original tritium-coated hands were replaced during factory service with Luminova service hands. Overall, the Day-Date remains in mint condition and is a wonderful well preserved one owner example of a seldom-seen diamond bezel reference 19048 Oysterquartz Day-Date, which just happens to be fresh from factory service.
