For sale is an excellent condtion 34mm 14 karat yellow gold Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date. The 15037 is a 9,761,xxx serial, circa 1988 production, and is not accompanied by box or papers.

The Rolex features a brushed yellow gold case, which is accented by a fluted gold bezel. The Oyster Date is mounted on its original 14 karat gold 6311 Jubilee bracelet, which contains 19 full size links, and sits loose on a 7.25 inch wrist. The swiss made 6311 Jubilee bracelet is stamped with a “L12” clasp code, which corresponds with a production date of December, 1987. The Rolex features a silver sunburst dial with applied polished gold stick hour markers, gold tritium coated hands, and a magnified date window aperture at 3 o’clock. The movement used in the 15037 is the quickset Rolex Caliber 3035, which is currently running well.

The reference 15037 is somewhat of an anomaly given that it was produced almost exclusively for the North American market alongside its 18 karat yellow gold counterpart the reference 15038. Furthermore, the 15037 was the last 14 karat gold Oyster Date reference to be produced, and was discontinued in 1988.

Condition:
The case has been preserved well and retains crispy thick even lugs with sharp bezel flutes, while the Jubilee bracelet contains minimal stretch. Overall, reference 15037 remains in excellent condition, having been well-preserved, and has begun to develop a light oxidation on its gold case and bracelet.
