1990s TAG Heuer Carrera 30 'Re-Edition' (Ref. CS3110) Blue Decimeter "Peach" Dial W/ Box

The Heuer Carrera is one of those iconic, storied watches that pretty much everyone is enamored with. Originally released the same year as the Rolex Daytona (with which it also shared both the Singer-made dials and the Valjoux 72 movement) and named after the extremely dangerous Carrera Panamericana race through Mexico, its place in the pantheon of watch models is firmly cemented.

In the '90s, TAG Heuer released the limited-edition ref. CS3110 'Re-Edition', as an homage to the 1964 ref. 2447D. But unlike many of today's homage pieces, this one is practically a mirror-image replica of the original (the only major difference being the minor updates to the printing and fonts), making it a best-of-both-worlds piece that has all the vintage vibes alongside modern reliability.

CASE & BRACELET

The wonderful Carrera case appears to remain unpolished and retains excellent case dimensions with limited signs of use. The case retains its original pump pushers and Heuer signed crown. The screw-down case back remains in great overall condition and features all factory engravings, including its edition number, still deep and fully legible. The watch comes supplied on a two-piece handmade leather strap with its original Heuer tang buckle.

DIAL & HANDS

The original matte-finished silver Heuer-signed dial with blue decimeter track has achieved an exceptionally beautiful warm, peach-colored patina throughout the center dial and sub-dials, creating a truly one-of-a kind vintage aesthetic. The dial itself remains in excellent condition, with no actual damage present. The tritium lume on the dial is intact with no degradation present, and has aged to a subtle eggshell patina. The original tritium hands match the dial perfectly and display no degradation under UV light inspection.

ACCESSORIES

The watch comes with its original box. The watch is functioning and keeping time; the previous service history is unknown. A movement service can be purchased upon request.
