Rolex - 1997 Vintage Rolex GMT Ref. 16710 w/Papers & Both Tags

The Rolex Reference 16710 Pepsi GMT is a timeless and iconic timepiece that embodies the rich heritage of Rolex craftsmanship. Introduced in the late 1980s and produced until the mid-2000s, this GMT-Master II model features a striking black and red faded "Coke" bezel, adding a touch of boldness to its classic design. Over the years, the watch has developed a charming patina on its bezel, a natural aging process that enhances its vintage appeal. The patina, often visible on the luminous markers and hands, speaks to the watch's history and the countless journeys it has witnessed. This subtle aging process adds character and uniqueness to each piece, making the Reference 16710 a sought-after collector's item for enthusiasts who appreciate both the functionality and the nostalgic beauty of a well-worn Rolex.

This example comes with its original punched papers and both its green and serialized tag with papers being dated 4/1997, along with some booklets; however it does not come with its original box. The watch itself is in very nice condition. The case lugs are thick and even. The GMT Coke insert is in nice condition showing even age throughout. The dial is excellent with matching patina. The bracelet is fully linked and shows no stretch. Here is a very nice example that comes with papers, tags and has a great look.
