For sale is an excellent condition 38mm platinum Rolex Cellini Cellinium. The 5241/6 is a K684,xxx serial, circa late 2001 production, is fresh from factory service, and under Rolex warranty until May of 2027. The Cellinium is accompanied by its original boxes, an NFC Rolex service guarantee card, a green leather paper holder, instruction manuals, a Rolex handkerchief, and Rolex service box with a leather travel pouch. Rolex service paperwork will also be provided as part of the sale, but is not shown in the pictures. 

The Cellini features a solid platinum polished finish case, is mounted on an unworn OEM black alligator calfskin backed strap, and is secured by its original polished platinum deployant buckle. The Cellinium features a black lacquer “Piano” dial with silver minute track, applied polished white gold index hour markers, polished white gold hands, and a silver guilloche sub seconds register above 6 o’clock. The movement used in the 5241/6 is the manual wind Rolex Caliber 1240, which features approximately 42 hours of power reserve, and is under factory service warranty. 

About the Cellinium 5241/6: 
Unveiled at Basel World 2001, the Rolex Cellinium was the first Cellini line crafted exclusively in platinum. The collection comprised of the 35mm reference 5240 and the larger 38mm reference 5241/6, with the 5241 marking a bold evolution in size and presence. Produced only for about five years due to the complexity of working with platinum, the Cellinium was discontinued around 2006. Today, the Ref. 5241/6 offers exceptional value within the neo-vintage Rolex realm with timeless and opulent aesthetics, while also remaining discreet. With the recent reintroduction of platinum in the 1908 line, renewed appreciation for these refined early-2000s Celliniums is all but inevitable.

Condition: 
The case has been exceptionally well preserved, retaining sharp hallmarks and crisp serial and model number engravings on the caseback. The only imperfections are a few faint hairlines on the case’s high-polish finish surfaces and a caseback removal mark between the bottom of the lugs at 12 o’clock, which is barely visible when the strap is mounted. The OEM alligator strap remains unworn, while the Platinum deployant buckle is free of any imperfections with its coronet remaing crisp and well defined. Overall the Cellinium is in excellent condition, and is under factory service warranty until May of 2027.
