Omega - 60’s Omega Pie Pan Constellation
This Omega Constellation Ref 14381 11 SC is now available, fully serviced and ready for its next caretaker.
The 34mm (36 with crown) gold capped case is in honest conditions which come with the normal wear and tear of life but the gold cap has not lost its integrity maintaining the yellow tone over the bezel and lugs, and still showing its original chamfer on the outsides of the lugs.
Inside is an Omega Cal 551 automatic movement now fully serviced, with a serial indicating production in the 1958-60 timeframe.
The 3-6-9-12 dial may not be flawless, but the brushing between the indexes and in the center of the dial catch the light beautifully and play in all angles.
There is slight pitting on the steel case back (small black marks shown) but the Observatory medallion is in place and in good conditions.
Being serviced by an Omega watchmaker, the crown was replaced with what Omega now deems is the optimal crown. As such, the era/model appropriate 10-sided crown is included with the watch for the new owner if they choose to have it installed.
