A. Lange & Söhne - A. Lange & Söhne Saxonia 219. 026 - 18k White Gold
A. Lange & Söhne is a German watchmaker founded in 1845. They are known for their ultra-high-grade and handcrafted timepieces with relatively low production numbers compared to many Swiss manufacturers. The collecting community is just beginning to appreciate the level of craftsmanship the brand has brought to the table with their own unique design language and we believe their neo-vintage models are especially attractive today.
The Saxonia was first released in 1994 and today is appreciated for its prototypical design and impressive build quality on the level of the "Holy Trinity." This "time-only" is a modern example housed in 18k white gold with display back to show its high-grade manual winding movement which features manual winding and a 45 hour power reserve. At 35mm it is one of the most elegant feeling Lange pieces on the average sized wrist. We love the monochromatic look of this piece is understated and can be paired with a myriad of strap options. The example has remained in very nice shape with a mint dial/hands and a strong case with deep and crisp markings. It includes its 18k Lange signed pink buckle.
