Audemars Piguet - Audemars Piguet Jules Audemars Dual-Time 25685BA

The Jules Audemars collection, names after one of AP's founders, pays tribute to his expertise in watchmaking complications. This ref. 25685BA, circa 1990s embodies their classical tradition with its 18k yellow case and asymmetrical dial layout, showcasing a power reserve indicator, a pointer date subdial and dual time subdial at 6 o-clock. This timepiece also boasts a historical automatic cal. 2129 movement, derived from JLC, providing a glimpse into their history of leveraging JLC based calibers. Interestingly, this was also the first watch to operate two time zones with a single crown operation. At 36mm, it is elegant it is elegant and well suited for the average sized wrist, elevated by its slim dimensions of just 8.5mm. This example has remained in excellent vintage condition and comes accompanied with archive papers, its boxes, booklet and 18k buckle, signed AP.

Dial: There is a small age spot above the "27" in the upper right sub and one by the "IX." Overall, excellent preservation for its age and neither marks are distracting to the naked eye.
Hands: Are matching.
Case: Nice preservation with even proportions. All of the markings/hallmarks are still visible. Correct unsigned crown.
Bracelet: 18k AP buckle. Two piece leather strap in taupe.
Crystal: Clear.
Accessories: Archive papers, inner and outer boxes, booklet.
