Audemars Piguet - Rose Gold Quantième Perpétuel 25657OR

Here I share with you the highlight of my personal collection - an amazing example of an exceptionally rare, Neo-Vintage gem and moreover, watch that helped save and the revive the Swiss watchmaking industry during the 70's quartz crisis.

An Audemars Piguet Quantieme Perpetual
Calendar ref. 25657 OR coming as a Full Collectors Set - hewn in a stunning shade of 18k Rose Gold, retaining wonderful unpolished conditions throughout.

This piece is a true full set, with it's: original outer box, leather folio wallet, both booklets, original bill of sale (from 1993) NOS AP crocodile strap and 18k gold pusher adjustment pin, accompanied also by technical details from it's last service.

This is probably the most special and significant watch I have owned - a personal holy grail of mine, which I hunted for a long time.

These are very rare watches, with the total number of Rose Gold examples of this model being 362 (across all configurations) - comparatively, Yellow Gold interations totalled 1309 examples.

This watch was sold in the last year of production, 1993 yet being a C-series case, dates to the mid-late 80's.
At 36mm, it is classically proportioned and wears fantastically, feeling like a bigger watch due to it’s discrete, stepped bezel.

The case is exceptionally well preserved, featuring perfectly crisp and deep hallmarks.

The early AP script dial is flawless with no blemishes and the perpetual calendar movement powered by AP calibre 2120/2 (based upon the infamous Jaeger
Le Coultre calibre JLC 920 of Royal Oak and Nautilus fame) is running perfectly.

All watches require a minimum of 24 hours notice to be retrieved from the bank vault prior to shipping or collection.
