Blancpain - Blancpain Villeret Ultra Slim Power Reserve - Breguet Numerals
Blancpain is the oldest watchmaking company, dating back to 1735. The brand has weathered centuries and has a rich history of heritage, craftsmanship and innovation. Credited with what we know as the modern dive watch, their now iconic Fifty-Fathoms just celebrated its 70th anniversary, having been released the same year as the Rolex Submariner in 1953. Although Blancpain might not be the first name to come to mind for many, the brand is seeing more deserved attention as collectors unpack their fantastic contribution to the world of horology.
This particular Villeret reference boasts an impressive 100 hour power reserve which is displayed by an indicator on its' dial. There is also a sub-seconds register but per perhaps most notable is the raised set of gorgeous Breguet style numerals. We love this modernized take on a classic dress watch and the slim case dimensions feel extremely elegant on wrist. This example has remained in top condition with a mint dial and strong case. It comes as a complete set and is ready for many years of enjoyment to come.
