Crafted in the 1960s, this watch was a hallmark of fine design with its double dials, double cabochon crowns and yellow gold Cintree case, made by Cristofol which also manufactured cases for Cartier.

Vital Bueche, the genius behind Bueche Girod, had hand-crafted each watch during a golden age of horology, a time when the world of luxury sought the touch of artisans. Many brands had including Cartier had all turned to Bueche, whose creations were considered masterpieces.

Worn by celebrities and dignitaries, the Bueche Girod of the period was a symbol of prestige and refinement, enjoyed by those who understood the allure of fine craftsmanship.

The watch, possibly unique in its existence, was from a time when the world was on the cusp of change, when the hands of a watchmaker could capture the essence of a moment and transform it into art.
