A true rarity within an already rare reference, this Patek Philippe ref. 2545R is one of just a dozen known examples in rose gold. While it shares the elegant charm that makes its cousin, the ref. 96, so beloved, the 2545 distinguishes itself with a screwback “waterproof” case and a slightly larger 32mm diameter—landing squarely in the Calatrava sweet spot. The warmth of the rose gold case adds a level of character and scarcity that its yellow gold counterparts simply can’t match.

Dating to the 1950s, this example remains in beautiful, honest condition with an honest dial and strong case. It’s fitted with a PPco-signed 18k rose gold buckle and Extract from the Archives has been ordered.
