First released in the 70s, the Santos Carrée was Cartier's attempt to offer an accessible sport watch in both two tone (ref. 2961) and in steel (ref. 2960). At 29mm, the Carrée (square in French), case is perfectly sized to be the perfect blend of elegance and sporty. One might argue that today, more than ever, this model is the Rolex Datejust of Cartier. This stainless example features the less common and beautiful Godron style bracelet and boasts nice overall condition.

Dial: Fantastic preservation. No cracks, crazing or notable wear.
Bezel: There is a small ding lower right and some normal signs of use but nothing too distracting and it remains well proportioned.
Hands: Are matching.
Case: Nicely preserved with no distracting marks. Correct crown.
Bracelet: Remains extremely tight and will fit approximately a 7 inch wrist.
Crystal: Clear.
Accessories: Authentic Cartier service pouch for storage and travel.
