First released in the 70s, the Santos Carrée was Cartier's attempt to offer an accessible sport watch in both two tone (ref. 2961) and in steel (ref. 2960). At 29mm, the Carrée (square in French), case is perfectly sized to be the perfect blend of elegance and sporty. One might argue that today, more than ever, this model is the Rolex Datejust of Cartier. We could not pass up on this two tone example for its fantastic overall preservation. Dial: Is completely mint with no notable blemishes. Difficult to come by in this reference!
Bezel: Has likely seen a light touch up. Very clean and full proportions with sharp edges.
Hands: Are matching.
Case: Extremely sharp edges with sharp lug holes. Appears unpolished and displays light signs of use. Correct crown.
Bracelet: Remains extremely tight and appears unpolished. Will fit up to a 7.25 inch wrist.
Crystal: Clear.
