First released in the 70s, the Santos Carrée was Cartier's attempt to offer an accessible sport watch in both two-tone (ref. 2961) and in steel (ref. 2960). At 29mm, the Carrée (square in French) case is perfectly sized to strike a balance of elegance and sportiness. One might argue that today, more than ever, the Santos is the Rolex Datejust of Cartier.

This particular Santos is the latest modern iteration of the Santos in a small size. We believe this piece fits very closely to the normal sized vintage Santos Carrée ref. 296X, making it a great and practical modern iteration of the model. Notably, it is also quartz so for anyone who likes the practicality of not setting the time, this could be a great daily driver. This piece is in near mint condition and comes with all of its elements since new, including the bezel protector and Cartier strap.
