Santos Carree

In 1987, the Santos has been revamped and was launched as the Santos Galbée. The watch case lost its boxy looks and became more curved, smoother and with a better fit on the wrist than the original Santos. The Santos is an all time classic and among the favourite Cartiers that come on a bracelet.

We have here a Santos Carree for ladies, the so-called Mini in the very iconic white dial variant that is a daily wearer for most ladies owning one. The very sleek case has the iconic Santos shape and the winding crown bears a facetted Sapphire Cabochon. The watch is overall in an exceptional sharp condition and bears sharp and well defined edges. Apart from that the watch seems to have not been worn much. The bracelet is tight and long.

The Santos Carree, due to the case dimensions gives a neo-Vintage feel, the size is very popular and goes with most outfits, be it casual, formal or evening attire. A very cool example that doesn't break the bank.

Case: Excellent stainless steel case that has been recently polished. The original crown with Sapphire is present. Case back engraving is fully present.
Bracelet/Strap: Excellent matching stainless steel bracelet that is only showing little wear from age. The watch fits a wrist up to 160mm.
Dial: White roman dial with secret signature at 10 o clock. The dial is showing some spidering from age.
