Tank Lapis

The Cartier Tank came in a universe of configurations and sizes and if we just think we have seen them all, there is that one we haven't. The Tank, is it's among the favorite among collectors and Cartier fans. Apart from the precious metal versions there is also the lesser expensive and very popular variation which is the Tank Must de Cartier that was also produced in 925 Silver with optional gold plated case.

This very nice example of the smaller size and while the larger models are pretty unisex, this one is reserved for ladies. The case is gold plated and still bears the original short crown with the Sapphire cabochon matching the beautiful Lapis stone dial. The gold particles on the dial are just mesmerizing and look amazing with the golden case.

This beautiful piece is as appropriate for the office day as it is for the evening.

Dial: Original laid dial that is signed Must de Cartier. The dial shows some wear from age.
