It was the creation of Louis Cartier, the founder of Cartier. This iconic model draws inspiration from the Renault FT-17 Tank, which was used during World War I. Over the years, the Cartier Tank has gradually evolved, but the design, style and shape have mostly remained the same. This Cartier Tank Louis features an 18K yellow gold case with a manual wind movement. From the 1980s, this striking watch features a beautiful white dial signed swiss and a sapphire cabochon crown. The watch measures 18mm x 25mm and is fitted on a new Cartier alligator strap with 18K yellow gold signed deployment buckle. Includes a letter of authenticity and one-year limited warranty on the movement of the watch from Veralet. The watch also includes recent service documents from Cartier. Please note there is a small scratch on the crystal.
