Cartier - Ceinture Manual - c. 1970
A square case with cut-off angles, the godron (French jewellery name for the kind of gold step on the case) that embraces and protects the crown: no doubt, it is indeed a Ceinture (French for belt)! Square and flat, this model is as elegant as it is confortable on the wrist. Even if it is thin, the godron gives the Ceinture a real presence on the wrist.
This Ceinture is presented in its most traditional and respectful version of Cartier's history, with a manual movement. Note that the winding crown is not original.
Comfort is accentuated by the presence of the yellow gold folding clasp, the qualities of which there is no longer even a need to praise!
