Luxurious and rare Audemars Piguet Huitième Chronograph reference 25644 in platinum. A 1980s design that embodies a mix of mid century elegance with ‘80s and ‘90s standards. Large 40mm case hosts a chronograph date complication powered by the AP caliber 2126, with the usual ref. 25644 smooth bezel that presents engraved Audemars Piguet logo at hour 12. The dial has a deep matte black color with silver detailing which really stands out in contrast with the black background of the dial. Previously unseen, the present specimen is the only platinum Huitieme to have ever appeared on the market on a full platinum bracelet. Case: The case is in very good condition with light signs of wear throughout. The case maintains original proportions, sharp edges and corners. The hallmark on the caseback is crisp. The inside caseback stamps and hallmarks are also crisp.
Dial: The dial is untouched and preserved in excellent condition with thick enamelled writings and details.
Movement: The movement runs well
