Daniel Roth - Daniel Roth Masters Salmon Chrono S247 | Mint | Rare Salmon Dial
Born in France to a family with deep horological roots, the master watchmaker at the renowned houses of Jaeger Le Coutre and Audemars Piguet, the man who resurrected the famed house of Breguet and then started his own atelier in 1989, Daniel Roth has achieved legendary status amongst the many revered Swiss watchmakers.
His influence on contemporary watchmaking has been substantial and his iconic designs, idiosyncratic construction and flawless, hand-crafted finish have withstood the test of time and propelled him to the very top of Swiss watchmaking. In 1995, Daniel Roth joined forces with The Hour Glass Group and the example you see here today is part of that period.
This Master Chronograph S247 model exudes all the signature Daniel Roth traits including the classic SALMON vertical guilloche dial reminiscent of his days in Breguet and a beautifully symmetrical design. The overall depth of the dial is accentuated further through the contrasting applied silver hour chapter ring that finishes off the elegant look, making this watch unmistakably Roth.
Presented here in excellent condition with the rare original salmon dial, this early second-generation Daniel Roth Chronograph comes equipped with a high-quality Zenith El Primero 400 movement, also used on the Rolex Daytona 16520s
