Endangered species: a superb 6241 « Paul Newman » full set!

Dial: simply a zero default black exotic dial aka. « Paul Newman » with fabulous grained subdials. All luminous plots are in place and with age developped a caramel patina. Hands luminous are matching the index. UV test make them all glow green & vanish. Note the hand for seconds features a flat end which i typical of early 6241.

Case: steel which is showing only minor if any polishing history. Back case 6241 CRS (stands for Charles-René Spielmann, a friend of Rolex’s founder Hans Wilsdorf who was a case maker and the supplier of some Rolex parts).
