For the most delicate of us this 37.5mm timepiece is the alternative to its "Jumbo" sister the Nautilus ref.3700 (42mm). A true unisex watch! You have been warned, Madame will most likely borrow it more often that you would like. The watch proposed here is part of the second series with a white date disc, manufactured in sept 1990 sold by Astrua in october 1990.
Movement/case number: 1.4xx.xxx/xxxx814
Dial: Deep blue respecting the specifications Mr. Stern imposed to Mr Genta: "the true color of the ocean". Sigma SWISS Sigma at 6h black date disc and accent on the GENEVE are typical features of the early dials (pre-1989). Yellow gold hour index markers filled with tritium. It flashes green and vanishes quickly which is how the tritium reacts.
Case: very nice and thick case revealing extremely limited polishing history. The sharp 3D calatrava cross on the clasp speaks for itself. Diameter 37.5mm. Thickness 7.9mm. Weight 136g.
Bracelet: the bracelet is extremely tight and it proudly stands-up. 22 links. Nautilus engraved on the clasp.
Box & papers: extract from the Patek Philippe archives, original grey velvet box, service papers including a fresh service in june 2025.
