WHY WE LOVE IT: Because it is right in front of the Lip Cosmic of Charles deGaulle and the true Prestige de la France.

Indeed, Charles deGaulle proudly owned this watch-model and his was serialnumber 17'298 and this one is approx 200 steps in front of the most important French watch once owned by the Général. One of the earliest Lip Cosmic (18K rosegold) known with the "Patents Pending" marking -- the innovation was made but not yet certified as a patent. And it has its sign of times and use here and there but: it comes in much better condition than the watch once owned by Général deGaulle.
