OVERVIEW
The Enicar Sherpa Jet Graph watch, introduced in 1963, is one of the rarest models in the Sherpa Graph series. Designed for travelers and pilots, it features a GMT hand for tracking two time zones. The blue dial version is especially rare, with only four known to exist.
The watch has a stainless steel EPSA compressor case with a bayonet lock, measuring 40.6 mm x 49.5 mm, 14 mm thick, and a lug width of 20 mm. It is water-resistant up to 300 feet. The blue dial features an applied Enicar logo, and the aluminum bezel shows numbers from 1 to 24, with black on silver and silver on black backgrounds. The bezel rotates smoothly without clicks.
The hour and minute hands are unpainted, paddle-shaped with rectangular tritium and orange tips. The second hand is thin and uncolored, while the sub-dial hands are unpainted and arrow-shaped. The GMT hand is silver with an orange or yellow tip. It runs on the Valjoux 724 movement with a gold finish and GMT complication. The crown has a "waffle" compressor design with the Enicar Saturn logo.
The first owner was a technician on a North Sea oil rig in Germany. Accompanied by a matching Enicar steel bracelet, the watch is elegantly cohesive. Its excellent condition, with original components and a patinated blue-gray bezel, makes it a collector's gem.
