Longines - Exceptionnally rare Longines Art Deco cover watch from 1929
This articulated 18 karat gold Longines watch is one of the 4 known to have ever surrefaced. Produced in 1929, according to Longines heritage department, and sent to Chile, at the time, it has since seen very few wrist time, and comes to us in incredible condition. It comes in a front and back articulated case with art deco decorations. The 2 tone dial is incredibly well preserved and features art nouveau numerals. The manually wound 9.47N caliber is in great shape, operates smoothly and keeps time perfectly.
Thicker than a Cartier Tank, it wears quite larger, despite similar dimensions.
