Founded in 1991, the Franck Muller brand has a shorter history than other master watchmakers; yet, has made an indelible mark on high horology thanks to its independent spirit and strong culture of innovation.

Franck Muller watches are recognized for their unique designs, characterized by strong case shapes and bold dials. Whilst his tonneau shaped complications are best known, his earliest chronographs are what truly reflect his watchmaking heritage and time spent restoring complicated timepieces at Svend Andersen and Patek Philippe.

Refined timepieces with an undeniable Patek vibe, complicated Lemania movements and classic design elements such as stepped bezels, brushed surfaces, pump pushers and Lemania ebauches, these are truly rare and can compare to today’s neo-vintage classics from Roger Dubuis and Daniel Roth.

This hand-made “Double Face Chronograph” is one of his earliest models from the 1990s with an early 1x reference and features a signature 18k rose gold case, reverse panda black front dial with reverse black pulsometer and telemeter scales, rise good pump pushers and an early Lemania movement.

Presented here in rare EXCELLENT condition with the box, this is one of the rarest and most investable timepiece that captures the pioneering essence of early Muller.
