Gerald Genta was a prominent Swiss watch designer who revolutionized the watchmaking industry with his bold and distinctive designs. Starting his career as an apprentice with Patek Philippe in the 1950s, Genta quickly gained a reputation for his creativity and innovation. He founded his own design studio in 1969 and became one of the most sought-after watch designers in the industry, creating some of the most iconic watches of the 20th century, including the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, the Patek Philippe Nautilus, and the IWC Ingenieur. Genta's designs were known for their unique shapes, use of materials, and attention to detail, and continue to inspire watchmakers and collectors around the world today.

This dual time piece is very striking and unique looking piece, of which very few examples have surfaced to market. The 18k yellow gold case fits elegantly on wrist (similar to an oversized Cartier Tank), and makes for the perfect travel watch, offering tracking of two time zones. Not only does this piece come with its warranty card, inner and outer boxes, hang tag and three Genta straps, 18k Genta signed buckle and the desirable 18k Genta button compass is also included with the sale, adding to its appeal as a stunning adventurers' timepiece.

Dial: Fantastic and appears mint under magnification.
Hands: Are blued and all matching.
Case: Very nicely preserved with light signs of use. The hallmark, lettering and numbering is all still visible. Both crowns are matching.
Crystal: Clear.
Accessories: Warranty card, inner and outer boxes, hang tag and three Genta straps (green, red and brown), Genta 18k button compass and 18k Genta signed buckle.
