I got this Glycine Airman from the son of the first owner. It belonged to Lieutenant Frank Mc Load, a F-4D pilot who was distinguished with the flying cross during the North Vietnam war in 1966. The watch came fully documented with pictures of him with the watch on his wrist until his retirement.

The Airman has been scrupulously restored to original, we decided however to leave all scars which are parts of the story of this watch.

Icing on top of the cake, the hack system, unique to the Glycine Airman, is present and still working. Not many of them are like this. Most of them have been removed during services by ignorant watchmakers.
