Founded in 1868, IWC is a Swiss company founded by Florentine Ariosto Jones, an American watchmaker motivated by the combination of Swiss knowledge and American technology. The watch comes from the stock of a retired watchmaker. It was never worn. It has a very light mark on the bracelet that comes from handling, but otherwise is flawless.
