TAG Heuer - Heuer Carrera 2456 in 18kt YG

Before joining the Tag group, Heuer was famous for its sport chronographs, showing strong relationships with the racing world, especially in the 60s and the 70s.

The history of the Carrera goes back to 1963, imagined by the genius Jack Heuer, and produced over a relatively short period until 1980. It takes its name from the dangerous Mexican professional race “Carrera Panamericana”, a real icon of the time and initially stopped in 1955.

This particular reference is one of the rarest produced. Crafted in 18 karats yellow gold, it was produced in a small number and is difficult to find in good condition, with sharp angles like this very one. It also is one of the first execution batch, with the cleanest dial of the series, coming with golden indexes, no tachimeter and a sunburst finish. Movement is the mythical Valjoux 72. A true collector’s dream.
