Case: The 6694 has a 34mm Oyster case. The condition is great. The lugs are very thick and sharp. The case has light signs of wear.

Dial: The rare dial variations is in good condition. Colored dials from this era are known to have this kind of wear around the edge and hour markers. The grey dial makes it less noticeable then other examples like blue dials.

Strap & Buckle: The 78350 oyster bracelet has an H clasp code which is 1983, just as the serial number is on the case. The bracelet is in great shape.

The term "Precision" on Rolex dials refers to watches that are not certified by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (COSC). These Precision labeled watches were introduced by Rolex to offer a lower priced product while protecting their main product lines. The first style was simple dress watches, often in gold or steel, first introduced in the 1940s. This specific example is a pretty rare variation of the oysterdate. Not only a beautiful grey dial, but it also features gold hour markers and hands. The dial is not the only rare part of this watch. With a quick search you will quickly find out that only a handful of these 6694s could be found with their original box and papers.
