This particular Lange 1 is special. This is a ref. 101.035 cased in solid platinum, giving it serious wrist presence. It’s been affably named the “Darth Vader” by collectors due to its striking black dial with black color matched outsized date disc. The visual effect is impossibly sleek. It gives the watch a serious “bad ass” factor that can’t be overlooked. The Darth has been long discontinued and became a favorite of Lange collectors. This example is preserved in great condition with only minor hairlines to the case and bezel. It is accompanied by its original box as well as an extract from the archives from Lange.
