Nicknamed as the « Rainbow » skin diver, this Mido 5907 is not the biggest, not the most iconic, not the toughest, but is definitely the most original and coolest diver watch among many.

Form follows the function, and this colorful dial was conceived to give the maximum visibility to the decompression table under the water. The result is this circular vivid rainbow dial, one of a kind. We don’t know if it is efficient on the field, but for sure this is the coolest dial ever seen on a diver watch.

This mk1 example (1959-1962) comes with the black outer ring, and is probably the nicest of all later versions. The watch has strong patina and still keep the original signed plexi and crown.
