Rolex - *MINT* 1958 Rolex Bombé Oyster Perpetual | 18Kt Yellow Gold | Ref. 6590

We’re proud to offer this exceptional piece, mint condition, unpolished, and scarcely worn. It features a pristine, radiant dial with gold indices and an applied logo, all housed in a highly sought-after 18kt solid yellow gold case with elegant Bombé lugs.

It is worth noticing the 18kt gold construction, as the vast majority were produced in 14kt, making this example not only rarer, but likely one of the finest to surface in recent years.

In the late 1940s, Rolex unveiled a unique Oyster Perpetual model, characterized by its gracefully arched lugs. Collectors have since fondly dubbed these models "Rolex Bombé" or "Bombay" in the Americas, inspired by the lugs' distinct, twisted with rounded shape. While this term isn’t official, it has become a beloved reference among enthusiasts.
