A later variant of the 7806 with R7740 manual winding configured in the Chrono-Matic design of ref. 1806 (the precise beginnings of production cannot be determined, as the 7806-S uses cases from production batches of the 7806).

The Navitimer ref. 7806-S has “Big Eyes” hour and minute counters, but no small seconds sub-dial at 6 o'clock, where the date display is located.

The dials feature red details on the dial and slide rule. The logos are “Twin Jet” for Navitimers distributed by Breitling, or silver-white printed wings signed AOPA. There are two hand variants: the slim, tapered luminescent baton hands of the classic Navitimer 806, later replaced by the wide luminescent baton hands of the Navitimer “Big Case”.
