According to the Longines extract from the archives, the original serial number 6684xxx identifies a wristwatch in stainless steel bearing the reference 4730. It is fitted with a Longines manually wound mechanical movement, caliber 23M. It was invoiced on 19 June 1944 to the company Girod, in Spain.
CONDITION
This piece remains in true new old stock condition, unworn, with only the faintest hairlines from careful handling. The crown, original and unsigned, the dial is pristine, bright, and untouched. It comes fitted with a vintage stainless steel Gay Frères 'Bamboo' bracelet, adding just the right note of period-correct cool.
