Omega - Omega “105.002-62” Speedmaster
Up for grabs is one of the rarest Omega Speedmasters to ever see production, the mythical reference 105.003-62. This reference was only produced for a very short, 6-month window in 1962, as a transitional model between the 2998 references and the now famous “Ed White” 105.003 reference. This particular Omega Speedmaster is in great vintage condition. The case appears possibly unpolished, albeit worn from use; the underside of the case remains very sharp to the touch. The original dial is in excellent condition, with no wear or marks visible. The original transitional tritium lume remains present on both dial and hands, aged to a warm yellow color, and reacting as it should under UV light (and completely matching glow on both dial and hands). Further, the watch retains its original “DON” (Dot Over Ninety) bezel, aged to a lovely lightly faded navy hue. The watch is fitted on a much later Omega No. 12 beads-of-rice style bracelet.
