What a cool design by Omega—I love that this brand has made just about everything. Omega never fails to surprise; they have excelled in so many categories, from divers and chronographs to dress watches. I think this one fits into yet another category—it screams the ’70s with its bold dial colors and case design.
This piece is powered by a manual-winding movement and, unlike others, doesn’t have a date window, which I believe makes the dial even more attractive.
Last week, I spotted a Speedmaster in Guatemala that I had never seen before—a two-tone model with a bead-blasted case. With Omega, you never know what you’ll find, but you can be sure it will have a great movement and a unique design. That’s why this remains one of my favorite brands.
