The Seamaster 165.024 has to harmoniously patinated or not to be. And this one has gracefully aged through the years, which is very rare with this reference. The Seamaster 300 has always been slightly underrated among iconic divers because of this. Most of them are often in bad shape. But the nicer ones, with clean dial and heavy but clear patina, they deserve all our attention. With the large tritium index and its matching color fat bezel, this one would be a conversation starter in any GTG. The price point is still very reasonable and it’s a « must have » for serious divers collector. The candle sticks hands set add more charms and make it even more appealing. Classic AND out of the box in the same time.
